Louis Boshoff, a Project Designer of DAMILVI Architecture joined our studio at the inception. His experience and personal endeavours in architecture has taught him the importance of embracing the balance between his personal ambitions and his professional development.Louis upbringing forged his relationship with architecture as a spiritual investment, in turn shaping him to have skillset unique to anyone of his age. His late father, also an architect, left him and his sister with a stellar realty assortment, each with a unique architectural manifest yet to be realized. Louis spent the better part of his youth in realizing the dream associated with each of these properties, by acting as a project leader in his father’s absence. He has a mission statement of how he would like to conduct himself as a professional as stated:
In principle I am interested in the thought that nothing in the physical world is purely spatial or temporal, but that every element of development within a contextual field is subjected to the change brought upon it. I would like to investigate how architecture and urban design becomes a component of critical influence. These principles shape an investigative person that is interested in a balanced life were architecture, sport and human interaction are passionately merged to create a full experience of the world around me. The context in which these experiences are lived are critically deducted and theoretically understood to create a sense of constant development and learning. Learning that is done through devotion, hard work and diligence.
Louis involvement from the outset of each project is pivotal. His ability to negate the necessities and constraints of each site transpires through the inceptual concept and the eventual built form.
